It may be freezing in most parts of the world right now, but warm weather is (hopefully) just months away as evidenced by all the spring shipments hitting stores. Here’s a peek at Chrissie Morris’ new collection, which hits Dover Street Market this week. Chrissie, a British expat living in Italy, won Vogue Italia’s emerging designer competition, What’s On Next, in 2008 and has been steadily growing a global cult following ever since. Hardcore shoe addicts love her architectural approach to shoe design and her trademark use of bold, Art Deco-inspired lines. For spring, she explores the popular multi-functional trend by creating a few standout shoes that are actually two pieces in one. My favorite is a stiletto with a removable strap that can be worn as a cuff bracelet (pictured below). The best part: You don’t necessarily have to wait for the weather to warm up to break her shoes out. They look just as hot with a pair of warm tights or ankle socks.
