Sorry for the lag in updates this week. I’ve been in Lisbon, Portugal, away from my laptop most of the time. (But what a crazy week it’s been! R.I.P. Michael Jackson.) That said, expect a proper catch-up from me on Monday. Adeus.

Born in Germany and raised in Virginia, Kenya Hunt is a self-professed Southern girl who grew up eating blackberries from her grandparents' garden, playing dress up in her mom's closet and giving her little sister makeovers. She went on to study English Literature at the University of Virginia before moving to New York where she spent two years as an aspiring dancer. Afterwards, she settled into life as a writer and editor, working for women's magazines including Jane, YM and Honey and later Metro International. She has also written for publications including InStyle, Vogue, New York Magazine, Essence, USA Weekend, National Geographic Adventure and UK ELLE to name a few. She now lives in London where she covers the fashion and beauty world for Metro.
